In occasion of the visit of the FCA, the guests played with the humanoid robot iCub. The peekaboo demo, recently developed in collaboration with Alessandra Sciutti and Oskar Palinko, showed how reading intentions can provide more effective strategies of interaction within automobiles.
Saliency based sensor fusion of the audio and visual channels into a unique saliency map. Additional gaze strategy directs the iCub`s head towards stimuli off the field of view.
